What impact does graphic design have?

Between the printing of print communication media (brochures, flyers, etc.), the uploading of web communication media (videos, publications, etc.) and their distribution, the environmental footprint of the media we create as part of communication campaigns can no longer be ignored.

However, these environmental impacts are largely the result of choices made upstream of the printing or distribution phases of communication media, i.e. at the design stage. In other words: we can mitigate them by integrating environmental considerations – but also social considerations (in terms of accessibility, for example) – right from the creative phase.
